There are these two albums that I just purchased recently. Actually I purchased three, but I can't tear myself away from these two to even listen to the third one yet... I am freaking HOOKED.

It's a little steer from my recent trip-hop and electronica tastes that I have been in lately (not that I am over those genres dammit I still love them to death) but... omfg I can't say enough how much I LOVE this music.

So my musical loves of the moment (and so constantly shifting those moments are because there is too much good music in the world):

The Eraser

Wincing the Night Away

So thank you Thom Yorke and The Shins for the aural pleasures you have bestowed upon my ever loving ears.

Oh and The Decemberists The Crane Wife... that was what I was kind of addicted to before listening to both of these albums. Which is another one I'd highly recommend as well.

Good choices! I always feel strange 'cause I like Thom Yorke's social album better than anything by Radiohead.

The Eraser's a fantastic album. With or without Radiohead, Yorke knows what he's doing. I think either "Black Swan" ("cause this is f*cked up, f*cked up") or "Skip Divided" are my favorites. I'd like to see what would happen if he and Damon Albarn (from Blur 2 and the Gorillaz) ever teamed up for a track or something. That would be sweet. :)

I'n not familar with the other album, but I'll give it a listen if it's on the iTunes Music Store.
